Health Specialist, The World Bank
Yassine KALBOUSSI
Yassine Kalboussi is a Senior Health Specialist for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region at the World Bank. He leads health sector operations in Tunisia and Djibouti and spearheads digital health initiatives across the region. With over 13 years of experience in the design, implementation, management, and evaluation of health and development programs, Yassine brings a strong combination of clinical knowledge and public health expertise to his work. He holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Faculty of Medicine of Tunis and a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Throughout his career, he has provided high-level technical assistance to numerous international organizations and national health authorities, including the World Health Organization (WHO), the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, the Ministries of Health in Tunisia and Morocco, USAID, and Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), among others.
